What is an End User License and how do I get it?
End-User license agreement (EULA) is a contract between the licensor and purchaser, establishing the purchaser's right to use the software product. You can find the product-specific EULA included with every product purchase. You can also request an updated version via email (latest update, September 2016).
I detected copyrighted content in one of the affiliate/hosted products!
The internet is vast and cannot be efficiently monitored. In the case you detected a potential copyright inftingement in one of the affiliate or hosted products make sure to notify as immediately and provide a DMCA or EUCD doc.
How do you handle Copyright Infringement?
Creatrix Visuals respects the intellectual property of others. It may, in appropriate circumstances, disable and/or terminate featured products (affiliate & hosted) who infringe others’ rights. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide us with the necessary information via our contact page.
What is a DMCA/EUCD doc?
DMCA stands for Digital Millenium Copyright Act and is a US law that sets out certain steps to follow that will encourage online and internet service providers to take down content when a copyright owner claims that their content is being used without their permission (EUCD is the european equivelant)
A DMCA/EUCD notice or DMCA complaint describes a document that complies with the requirements of the DMCA law that you can send over to a web hosting company, cyberlocker or person, to encourage them and ask them to remove your copyrighted work from websites which are unintentionally or intentionally using or distributing it without your explicit permission.
Nowadays, it’s the most effective tool to remove copyrighted content from illegal/pirate websites. In order to be successful with removing content from these websites, you must understand the different sections of a DMCA takedown notice, otherwise the document can be rejected due to minor issues that could have been fixed from the very beginning.
